Meet Julio Born and raised in Tampa, FL as a Cuban American who’s always had a passion for the boating industry. Since a kid, I was always on the boat with my dad, who taught me the way of the water! I decided to make this passion a career and attended Pinellas Technical College’s Marine Servies Technologies Program where I built my foundation. During my time in the program, I earned certifications in Yamaha and Mercury. After graduating, I began my career working on a variety of boats- Everglades, Invincible, Yellowfin, EdgeWater, Cobalt, Carver Yachts, etc. I am currently certified in Mercury, Yamaha, and Fischer Panda Generators. I take pride in my work as a business owner by making sure every boat is treated as if it were my own, no problem goes unnoticed, proper maintenance is done, along with top tier quality, and while effectively communicating and educating as needed.

Coleman Selm

Owner/Technician

Coleman grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio boating on rivers and lakes until he decided to join the U.S. Coast Guard after high school. He spent the majority of his Coast Guard career serving as an Aviation Survival Technician and Helicopter Rescue Swimmer. Coleman credits his attention to detail and perfectionism of maintenance procedures on boats from his experiences, regulations, and values while working in military aviation.

After retiring from the Coast Guard in 2020, Coleman attended Pinellas Technical College’s Marine Servies Technologies Program to pursue a formal education of his lifelong passion of recreational boating maintenance and repair. While in school he received numerous awards and certifications from industry companies like Yamaha and Mercury.

Colemans mission and goal is to provide his customers with the best quality marine repair around. A technician business owner who effectively communicates, educates, and treats everyone’s boat as if it was his own.
